SIN CITY ALWAYS GOES TO EXTREMES!

SIN CITY ULTRA RACE
We have finally got an Official Ultra Race (which isn’t of Badwater or Fat Ass proportions) in the Las Vegas area. On President’s Day weekend, February 24, 2007, Red Rock Running Company (an ultrarunner owned local running store) will be sponsoring the “Sin City Dead Presidents 6/12 Hour Ultra Run. It is on a 1.25 mile basin rectangle which is North of the Las Vegas center. It is asphalt and concrete and designed for speed and (dare I
say) comfort since the aid stations and port-a-potties are always only 1.25 miles away each lap. We will have great swag from Hammer Nutrition, great sock giveaways and gift certificates and awards to the winners in each category. Since some of you are fortunate enough to have jobs that entitle you to that Monday off for Presidents Day, it is a perfect recovery weekend in a destination city.
