Expedition Objectives.
1. Irish National Expedition Team to reach the South Pole and Beyond.
2. Irish National Expedition Team to traverse South Georgia via Shackleton’s route.
3. Irish Expedition Support Team to South Georgia/Antarctica.
In honour of our Irish heroic Antarctic Polar explorers: Ernest Shackleton. Tom Crean, Patrick Keohane, Robert Forde, Mortimer and Tim McCarthy.
The expedition will be lead by world renowned expedition leader, Pat Falvey, in what is seen as the ultimate ‘ big adventure’ into the coldest most remote regions on earth.
Ordinary Irish men and women tackling the most hostile terrains on our planet. Follow their amazing adventures, as they make their dreams a reality.
