Safetrip

Could be useful for all runners and walkers that do trails in the USA and Canada. See below:

Hi all,While poking around for news stories about ……., I can acrossmention of a site called “Safe Trip” where you can log your info and

details about your training runs. Then if you don’t come back (i.e.

call them or log in to report your return), they will call your

emergency contact and/or the police. I haven’t tried it yet, but it

sounds like a good system for computer-literate people who train by

themselves and don’t always want to bother family/friends with every

little detail. And it’s free, but apparently covers only the US and

Canada:

. Just knowing which trailhead to startfrom would make a huge difference in a search.
