Caballo Blanco Korima Fund
I want to start a collection of money to bring down to Mexcio later this month to give to Micah True, also known as Caballo Blanco, the legendary RD of the Copper Canyon Ultra Marathon and Presidente of Club Mas Locos (of which I am one of a few exclusive members).
Micah has developed a trusting relationship with the Indians ever since he paced Manuel Lunes back when the Tarahumara (Raramuri) first did Leadville in the 90s. They have been friends ever since.

I am heading down to Mexico on February 24th. I am meeting up with Scott Jurek, his wife along with others. Starting on Sunday the 25th, we will make the trip from Los Mochis to El Fuerte by bus (2 hours), from El Fuerte to Creel by train (12+ hours), from Creel to Batopilas by bus (6+ hours), from Batopilas to Urique by foot (15 hours).
The race will be held March 4th.
The Tarahumara call this sharing korima. Korima is about unattached, unconditional giving. It is a circle.
