Hey runners,Dirty Feet is planning on an inaugural 100 Mile race in the Cleveland
National Forest of Orange County. Details are still preliminary but I am
sending out what I currently know in case you=B9d like to get this put on your
race schedule and since its only 10 months away. At this point its about
95% likely this race will occur on the date listed below. This will be a
VERY DIFFICULT race and as such will have strict qualification requirements
.
Course and date should be finalized by May.

Approximate Elevation Gain 31,000+ (course details still being worked out)
Entry Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Twin Peaks 50k in less than 6 hours + completion of any 50 mile+ trail race
Twin Peaks 50 Mile in 12 hours or less
Any 50 Mile trail race in less than 11 hours and with elevation gain of
5,000+ feet
Completion of any 100 mile+ trail race with elevation gain of 10,000+ feet
Race results must be certified or printed in national publication such as
Ultra Running Magazine
Entries are subject to approval by RD.
Qualifying period for Dec 2007 Race is June 1, 2006 through September 30,
2007
Runners will be required to carry 2 bottles (or equivalent). Pacers highly
recommended.
