Run Around Tassie – Running for Kids Smiles

Posted by planetultramarathon on February 23, 2007

Vlastik Skvaril and Deborah De Williams are going to run 1250kms around Tasmania to raise money and awareness for Camp Quality, Tasmania.

The run will start at Launceston on 28th March. The run will travel in a anti-clockwise direction around Tasmania. It will see Vlastik and Deborah running togetherand doing an average of 50kms a day.

During the run, Vlastik, Deborah and their support crew will visit over 40 communities, talk to over 20 different schools and service clubs before getting back to Launceston on the 21st April.

Vlastik and Deborah have done various solo runs/walks in the past and have raised much needed money and awareness for various childrens charities. I commend them for doing this and Im sure they are going to have a Great time running together.

I don’t believe there is a website at this stage, but I will post it as soon as it becomes on line.
