Entries open for 2008 North Pole Marathon

So you didn’t win the Brad Feld/YourRunning.com North Pole Marathon Entry Giveaway contest this year? Well, you can register to run in the 2008 race. … Race organizer Richard Donovan has opened up registration already, and reports that there are only 24 slots to be had. Price: €12,000. (And you thought the entry fee to the New York Marathon was pricey!)
Also, there’s a new wrinkle for 2008. Marathon participants will be eligible to participate in a North Pole mountain bike race — free bike included — after the foot race.
