Quicksilver – Volunteers Welcome

Posted by planetultramarathon on March 12, 2007

Only a couple more months till Quicksilver on May 12! Entries are coming in quickly, but we always welcome more runners. See the Quicksilver website at www.quicksilver-running.com .

We always need volunteers, and Quicksilver is a great place to get your volunteer hours for Western States or other races that require volunteer hours. Volunteers get T-shirts, of course, and the famous Quicksilver Cafe Barbecue. And it’s always fun. We can use people at aid stations and at the start/finish area. Just email the race directors at the address below to volunteer.

If you need trail work hours, the Quicksilver Running Club has adopted the New Almaden Trail in Almaden Quicksilver County Park. Tehre are several work days scheduled this spring. Email the race directors for info.

Whether as a runner or a volunteer, you are cordially invited to be part of Quicksilver.
