Connemara Ultra Event

Here are the results of the Connemara ultra event which was held in a remote
mountainous region of the west of Ireland last Sunday.

The first 3 home were running to form as they had already been selected
(along with Michael Collins,2006 North Pole marathon winner) to represent
Ireland in the annual Celtic Plate 100km International race.The Celtic
Plate is a rotating challenge between England,Scotland,Wales and Ireland
which will be held in Edinburgh,Scotland on May20th.The English team have
dominated this competition in recent years, but this year Ireland is sending
a strong team which will be handled by North Pole marathon director,Richard
Donovan and Tony Mangan.
