Holcomb Valley 33 and 15 mile Trail Runs

DATE Sunday June 10, 2007
TIME 33-mile will start @ 7:00 a.m. 15-mile will start @ 7:30 a.m.Both events will have a staggered wave start, which is required by the U.S. Forest Service.Times will be adjusted accordingly at the finish line. Waves based on prior times, if you want to run with someone, please indicate persons name in space provided on the application. To be in the same wave you must be running the same distance.
WHERE Meadows Edge Picnic Area in Big Bear Lake, Ca.
COURSE Loop course on the Pacific Crest Trail and U.S. Forest roads in the San Bernardino forest.
CUTOFF33-Mile runners must be thru Aid station # 5 (20.8 miles) by 12:45 p.m. 10-hour time limit.
AID 7 well-stocked stations (3 for 15-mile) with water, sports drink, fruit, homemade cookies & more.
DROP-BAGS Drop bags for the 33- mile only @ aid stations # 4 & #7. (14.9 & 27.5 miles)
INFO Entries are limited to 200. NO RACE DAY ENTRIES. All entries must be received by June 4, 2007. A confirmation letter with driving directions, Course map, and places to stay will be sent to all participants via e-mail or snail mail. Runners must be at least 18 years of age
FEE’S 33-mile $60.00 postmarked by May 15th $80.00 thereafter. 15-mile $40.00 postmarked before May 15th $60.00 thereafter. NO RACE DAY ENTRIES, NO REFUNDS & NO TRANSFERS.
AWARDS Finishers awards to all that finish. Male & Female 1st thru 4th in both events Age group: 1st place male & female both events (18-29) (30-39) (40-49) (50-59) (60-69) (70+)
