Paul Staso bicycling across America

Posted by planetultramarathon on April 11, 2007

Paul ran across America last year from June through October to fulfill a
promise made to elementary students. He has packaged his experience,
photographs, and memories into a motivational presentation for promoting
youth fitness. Paul will be visiting over 15,000 students on his reverse
route bicycle ride in hopes of inspiring today’s young people to stay
healthy and fit and pursue their own dreams in life. His lodging and many
of his expenses are taken care of but you can still donate, increase media
awareness, and find out if a school near you is along his route. Paul’s
first leg begins today with a 72 mile ride from the Atlantic Ocean near
Lewes, Delaware to Grasonville, Maryland. Follow along, leave a guestbook
message, and perhaps take your own children for a walk, bike, hike, or run
several times over the 68 days Paul will be on the roads of America.
