Was sad news today to read that Melbourne Ultra runner, Ken Matchett had passed away.
Ken was eighty five years old and had suffered with a brain tumour over the last few months.
Ken had run over 100 marathons around Australia and also held various World and Australian Ultra Age Group records.
I only had the pleasure of meeting Ken a couple of times. But he always struck me as being a Gentleman who stuck up for what he knew was right.
