Hi Everybody! Its Nigel Reed.

If you’re thinking life is tough!  Be born on April Fools day and then be called Nigel.

But hey do not go yet !  Things get better.  My father was shot down and killed in 1943 and as a result of that my mother bailed out as well.

IBut it is not what happens to us that determines the outcome of our life, but how we deal with it -   ”Nigel Reed and many others before and after me.”

First let me say thank you for visiting my website.

Besides being a Charity Walker, as you can see by my photo I also raise funds for people less fortunate.  In this case the children and families that Zoe’s Place Help.

They are families who have a child with a terminal illness like cystic fibrosis, cancer, muscular dystrophy and Baten Disease.

I wear many hats.  I undertake public speaking engagements.  Talking about how to make the most of what ever life has dealt you.  Sharing with you the stories of the children who joined me along my walks. I also tak about the generosity of some corperate leaders that have helped me along my way.

    Nigel,
I am among the worst correspondents in the world but I think about you often. You may remember my son Johnathan, he has CF but is still going fairly well. He’s in the hospital about two weeks out of eight these days. He’s graduated from college with a degree in Meteorology and is a Storm Chaser.
Because he can’t work steadily he occasionally submits his videos of tornadoes to local (Colorado and Kansas TV Stations. Nobody has paid him yet. We are very proud of him. He is a wonderful young man with legions of friends and an insatiable lust for adventure. He’s been to France with his French class in High School twice and to Peru(on a mission trip) against what Rhonda and I considered better judgment. Now he wants to go to Haiti on another mission trip. He’s 25 now and trying to get all of his life in.
Our Lions Club is still going, I believe Roger Stromberg and I are the only members left who were there when you came through Colorado. We hope you are well and still walking. God Bless, John

  4. Hello Nigel. I am in the process of raising funds to substantiate an offer to take over the assets (lease, buildings and all equipment) of Zoe’s Place at Mount Ommaney. [Zoe's Place went into voluntary receivership recently, and closed down on 13th July.]

Free Spirits World Wide is totally focussed at present on raising funds to build more “Zoe’s Places”. The present favoured name for them will be “Kookaburra Lodge”.

Please send me your phone number in NZ, email address, etc.
I wish to ask you about the setting up and operation of Zoe’s Place.

    Best wishes,

    Robert of Goodna.
