I would like to have a diet wich will help me to decrease the ammount of cramps, I am a marathonian and IRON MAN, and I suffer a lot of cramps around 3 to 4 hours exercise,,,
Hammer Nutrition products rock! Endurolytes electrolyte capsules before and during long training and racing got rid of my muscle cramping after years of ineffective use of Gatorade/Powerade/salt tablets. Race Day caps and Recoverite, too.
The only cramp you have is in your hand from writing checks to pay for the products! (but it’s worth it if you’re serious about feeling better)
Hi,
I had the same problem, and I cleared it up totally by taking ordinary table salt. Every 2 or 3 hours I take a sachet of salt as purloined from a McDonalds fast food joint. I also eat some bananas on every long outing. These two measures seem to keep my cramps totally at bay, and costs nothing except for the bananas but you need the calories anyway. I don’t see why you need to spend money if there is a free way of doing stuff. I am a pharmacist and a sports nutritionist by the way.
