Tim Cochrane wins Australian Ultra athlete of the Year

AURA is pleased to announce that the male ultra athlete of the year for 2007 is Tim Cochrane. In April, Tim placed second to Dave Criniti in the 50km at Canberra with 3:05. In May he won the Wilsons Prom 44km. In June he won the Australian 100km championships, followed by a win in the Bush capital marathon. He then ran 7:08 in the 100km World Cup in Holland (best-performed Australian), followed by a second at Brindabella and a dead heat with David Waugh in the Great North Walk 100 miler.
