The three AURA athletes who contested the gruelling 24 hour treadmill race in the new Melbourne City store of The North Face have all posted world class performances.

Martin Fryer did 245.92 km, just 1.76 km short of the current world record, David Waugh was just 4.92km behind Martin and Deanne Nobbs achieved a very commendable 188.07 km making her the second-ranked woman in the world for this event.
Martin. David & Deanne

The performances are also the best performances ever posted in Australia.

The performances ar eall the more commendable considering that none of them had raced on treadmills before.
In achieving these marks, all three athletes have now qualified for the team to represent Australia at the IAU world challenge to be held in Seoul, Korea, later in the year.
