Gold Coast 24-48 now Caboolture 24-48

The Gold Coast 24-48 is being transferred to the Caboolture Historical Village with Geoff Williams as the new Race Director. Race Director of the Gold Coast for the past 6 years, Ian Cornelius said, “the Mondo track was already hard and unforgiving but its condition has been rapidly detoriating in the past couple of years. This, coupled with uncertainty of the availability of the electronic timing system necessitated a change. Geoff Williams is well experienced and I appreciate him agreeing to take the race over”. He went on to say “Chrissie and I thank all the athletes, volunteers and others who supported the race these past 6 years.”

The next race will be held commencing Friday 29 August 2008 at 0900 hours, see Caboolture 6-12-24-48
