Since meeting the three young men who were running coast to coast I’ve rec’d regular emails from them. They arrived safely in San Diego on Memorial Weekend – met on the beach by about 30 loved ones. Pretty spectacular achievement Savannah, GA to San Diego for three guys in their early 20s.
Anyway, this morning I heard from one Ron Wahila (either Andy’s dad, brother, uncle or cousin?). He just sent an attachment, obviously a member of the Wahila clan proud of Andy’s doings. The guys just ran the San Diego Rock n Roll marathon (I believe it was their first). I know several of you followed their progress across the country, so thought you’d enjoy knowing that they’ve now not only done their first coast to coast but finished up with their first marathon.

They continue to post stories and photos to their website http://www.NationRun.com/ . I have a feeling we’ll read more about these guys in future race reports! They may not be the fastest, but they are certainly steadfast.
