Australian 100k reps Jo Blake and Susannah Harvey-Jamieson were on fire at today’s 63 km Tamborine Trek, establishing new race records.

Jo took 6 minutes off Mike Page’s 2006 record, winning in a time of 5:15:17. Eight-time winner Kelvin Marshall (12 podium finishes) finished second in 6:54:09. Jo’s performance was all the more meritorious as he took a wrong turn running an extra 2 km.

Susannah was third outright in a time of 7:10:47, taking 7 minutes off Siri Terjesen’s 2006 record. Tegwen Howell, a newcomer to ultrarunning put in a stellar performance finishing fourth outright in 7:14:49 with Adrian Pearce 5th in 7:18:15.
