Dear Extreme Runners,
Today (05-05-2007) Denise and I had the pleasure of meeting Martin
Ilott. He was on his sixth day of a 3,600 mile, 90 day “run” pushing a jog
cart from Huntington Beach, California, to the East Coast. We heard about
the adventure via the UltraList and a friend who lives in Inyokern. We met
him this morning in Olancha on our way to Lancaster/Palmdale. It turned out
that we knew a lot of people in common. I took a few digital images:

He plans to go about 40 miles each day. He will be in Independence
tonight and probably Benton the next night for those of you who might want
to witness his trek.
